Lindsay Melka
Psychotherapist - LPC
I help people feel comfortable in their own skin. I specialize in helping people with low self-esteem, relationship struggles, and addiction. When we don’t feel like ourselves, our life gets out of whack. People often wonder “what’s wrong with me?”. Counseling can help those struggling with emotional imbalance find peace and belonging. I have had the opportunity to work with those struggling with these issues for over a decade and have seen clients work through them and live lives free of crippling self-doubt, depression, and relationship problems. I am empathic and realistic. I also find humor very important in working though the tough stuff that we all experience as human beings at one point or another.
I love working with people who are feeling discouraged because they tend to be caring, sensitive and overall good people just looking to be a better version of themselves. I especially love to see how transformation can occur when one is free to open themselves up in a way that allows them to be authentic and real.
If you are ashamed, uncomfortable, or new to exploring your feelings with another person, I encourage you to give counseling a try. You’ll be amazed at the relief you’ll feel when given the opportunity to release and explore your emotions.
