Lawrence Bacon
Licensed Mental Health Counselor -
Counseling is my way of using my years of experience, talents, and natural abilities to serve you. For me, it is a natural continuation of the work I did as a minister for over 25 years. As a counselor, I get to help you learn strategies to cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I can also use my 2+ years of serving those who are struggling with addictions if you need help coping with substance use. When you come to me for counseling you can expect a therapist who invites you into a therapeutic relationship where you are a full partner. You can expect that I will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a Person-Centered approach to help you rediscover hope and become the best version of yourself once again.
