Latavia Agada

Psychotherapist -

When you take care of yourself and learn self-mastery, it makes navigating life much easier. My hope is to be a support on this journey that can be lonely, difficult, and misunderstood by not only yourself, but others around you. With an eclectic, nonjudgmental therapeutic approach and years of experience, let’s challenge life’s obstacles.Process the present and the past in order to move forward. After studying groups on a macro-level via sociology and anthropology, I turned to the ripple effect by starting with the individual in psychotherapy. I use different treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.) for each client to explore how meaningful they are and identify their life worth living. Life is not perfect, but it can still be enjoyable despite hardships and that is what my practice hopes to help my clients realize.
