Krista Hill
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist - AMFT
Congratulations on taking one of the most important steps in self-care! Navigating life’s challenges can be tough, and many people can feel pressured to suffer in silence. As a therapist, I believe in providing a space where individuals feel heard and understood, but most importantly, where they feel that they do not have to face their struggles alone. Through a person-centered approach, I like to create an atmosphere of acceptance and non-judgment, while also establishing a collaborative relationship in which we can explore your areas of concern. How we see ourselves can play a large role in our mental health. Through an affirming approach, I specialize in helping individuals explore their various identities (racial, gender, religious, romantic, etc.). Additionally, I focus on helping clients process the curveballs thrown at us otherwise known as life transitions.Although emotional vulnerability can be scary at times, know that you are making a powerful and courageous decision in taking this initiative towards your mental health. While you are ultimately the expert of your experience, I hope that I can provide a sense of connection, safety, and perspective as we navigate these experiences in therapy. I look forward to hearing from you!
