Expand Your Life. Experience how to improve and manage your mental health using tested, effective strategies – So You Can Live the Life You Want.
Is anxiety and avoidance of fearful situations making it feel like your world is shrinking? I can help you expand your life by supporting you to make changes in your behaviors and thinking patterns. This can have a positive impact on your mood and your ability to live your life fully, without mental health symptoms holding you back. I specialize in treating teens and adults with anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders. At CBT Solutions, LLC, we provide online therapy serving all of Minnesota.
I am highly trained and experienced in evidence-based treatment, which means the strategies I use have been shown by science to be effective. First, I focus on developing a supportive therapeutic relationship by listening to you with compassion and respect. We would work together to achieve a full understanding of your concerns, and to create a treatment strategy aimed at adjusting your behaviors and thoughts to improve your wellbeing. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as other evidence-based treatments to customize therapy to you. I view eating disorders as similar to anxiety disorders and therefore use a related approach rooted in CBT. My goal is to identify specific skills that work for you, and to assist you in practicing and integrating them into your life for your long-term success. Among other experience, I have worked in a partial hospitalization program treating teens and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
