Kirsten Hartz

Licensed Addiction Therapist -

** I have immediate openings for tele-therapy (including phone and Zoom) and would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty. **
I believe that addiction and mental health challenges happen when there is pain. My approach to substance use disorder treatment involves gently addressing this pain through body-centered, compassionate, non-shaming, and collaborative methods.
Through both big and small changes, we can get curious together about your relationship with substances, and heal the root of the issue, rather than just treating the symptoms.
In our work together, I’m never going to tell you what your recovery should look like. My goal is to help you discover, recover, and integrate all the parts of yourself that feel scattered due to substance use, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Using a holistic, client-centered, and tailored approach, I trust the wisdom of your body to guide us.
By combining evidence-based principles, including DBT and EMDR, and a body-centered approach, we will uncover and heal the root of the substance use disorder and mental health challenges. Together, let’s get to work healing whatever stops you from living your best life. Please visit www.rebel-recovery.com.
