My goal is to provide you a safe, comfortable and supportive environment to learn and grow within yourself, your relationships, and your experiences. My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from several different therapeutic modalities and techniques. The reason for this is because everyone has unique situations, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therefore, my approach allows for flexibility in using the best therapeutic elements for you.
I offer adolescents (10+), adults and elders individual therapy in a traditional office setting as well as offer Walk/Talk Therapy, which is a more active approach.
Walk/Talk Therapy adds a natural twist to traditional therapy. Instead of seeing clients in a traditional office setting; Walk/Talk Therapy sessions are held in the beauty of the outdoors while we walk together.
Research has shown that exercise enhances both your mood and self esteem. Walking is the simplest positive change anyone can integrate into their lifestyle. Walking forward while simultaneously looking forward can be looked at as metaphors for the progress we will create together.
