Kimberly Simpson
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
Knowing where and when to reach out for help can be overwhelming. Emotional stress causes you to shut down and avoid things that could improve your life. You wind up feeling isolated and even cut off from your own feelings. It might be a life crisis, such as a health diagnosis, relationship stress or career change. It could be a more subtle feeling that you are no longer enjoying life as you once did. Having a safe space, free of judgment to work through these thoughts and feeling can make all the difference.
I have over a decade of experience in counseling in various location; private homes, office settings, dialysis units, neonatal units and nursing homes. This reflects my broad range of interest from helping with anxiety and depression to supporting individuals through lifes many unexpected changes.
I would like to help you on your journey to a healthier place in your life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work from East Carolina University, an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and licensed by the state of North Carolina State Board since 2009.
