Kiara Owens
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist -
**Please Note: While, I have a passion to assist all who experience mental health difficulties, I am licensed to work with Minnesota residents only.
**Hello and congratulations on taking the first step towards sounds healing! My name is Kiara Owens and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) in the state of Minnesota. I have a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Adlerian Psychology. I am the sole clinician of Omni Healing Therapeutic Services, LLC which I founded to honor patient’s voices, culture, and strengths, while promoting healing, relationships, and connections with one’s self, others, and the world.
I specialize in working with adolescents (12+) and adults who are struggling with relational distress as well as those struggling with life transitions, self-worth, self-identity, perfectionism, and trauma (including racial based trauma). I practice from a holistic, culturally response, and compassionate lens. I will work with you, not only as an expert, but also as a coach walking alongside you as you achieve sound healing. I have experience working with patient’s from all walks of life and specialize in working with those who identify as Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color (BIPOC) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and Plus (LGBTQIA+); where I utilize a systemic and social justice lens, recognizing the discrimination and oppression experienced by those from marginalized communities.
Each session I aim to empower patients. I will be compassionate towards you and focus heavily on building a safe environment/therapeutic relationship aimed to encourage you to work on historically uncomfortable aspects of your life. Regardless, if you are seeking individual, family, or relational services I will be your cheerleader encouraging and pushing you towards your desired goals. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
