Keri Willis
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor -
*Accepting New Clients. Many insurance plans and self-pay accepted. Book online at: kerireneecounseling.com. Most insurance plans cover therapy sessions, often for free or for as little as a $5 copay! Sessions available in-person in Asheville and by HIPAA secure Telehealth video anywhere in North Carolina. EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy are at the heart of my practice. I am passionate about healing trauma. I provide a safe space for you to turn toward your experience. A whole body-mind approach has the ability to truly heal the roots of our concerns, much more than talk therapy alone.
I also use a variety of other forms of psychotherapy including Hakomi, Relational Life Therapy, Contemplative, Person-Centered (Rogerian), Existential, and Cognitive-Behavioral. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, I am a National Certified Counselor with the NBCC, and I am Licensed with the North Carolina Board for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
Experience: EMDR Training, Seattle Hakomi Education Training, Internal Family Systems with Everett Considine and completing Level 1 with the IFS institute, Interpersonal Neurobiology with Sarah Peyton/Bonnie Badenoch, 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Authentic Relating Facilitator, The Circling Institute, Radical Aliveness with Ann Bradney, Training in Vipassana/Shambhala/Zen Meditation, Relational Life Therapy Levels 1 & 2, and Extensive World Travel.
