Katie Mae Dierker
Counselor/Therapist - LPCC, NCC -
I believe that each of us has the ability to heal from the experiences in our lives that caused suffering or left us feeling wounded. However, exploring this pain and sharing our stories can feel both scary and intimidating. I create a safe, compassionate container for you to draw up your own courage to look inward and explore the wounds that brought you to therapy. My holistic approach to therapy tends to the whole person, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit to support the healing process. Drawing upon my mindfulness-based skills, somatic experience, and clinical expertise I accompany each person on their journey of growth, discovery, and transformation.
I provide support to individuals as they navigate their way through life’s challenges including: life transitions, career and job identity, grief and loss, stress, cultivating self-awareness, searching for deeper joy or meaning in life, or experiencing a more integrated connection to their bodies.
My MA in clinical mental health counseling and internship were completed through Regis University. In addition, I have over ten years of experience as a yoga practitioner and teacher.
