Kathy T. McCall is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and DrugCounselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist- II. Kathy has a Master’s in science from Chicago State University and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Adler University. Kathy has advanced training in Gambling Addiction, Domestic Violence, CrisisManagement, and completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, used in her work with couples. Kathy has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), the Chicago Police Department, the Chicago Public School System, and Community Mental Health and Outreach settings. Learning to navigate life’s storms and adversities can be overwhelming. We all will experience emotional and mental distress at some time in our life, and it is Kathy‘s goal to help provide a transformative experience. Kathy is knowledgeable about diverse cultural groups and honors people and the groups they represent. Her passion is to provide a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment while incorporating various tools, knowledge, and support to navigate the complexities of clients’ lives. Her approach is based on the client’s presenting issues and strengths that may assist them in attaining their treatment goals. Kathy is passionate about wanting to help individuals and families holistically address challenges so that they can develop skills to work toward living and maintaining a meaningful and joyous life.
