Kathryn Bryan
Marriage & Family Therapist - LMFT, ATR-BC
Hello and welcome! I seek to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that can help put you at ease. When we begin to work together I will start by getting to know you as an individual within the context of your world. Since I believe that all people have the inherent ability to heal and solve their own problems, I usually step back and support you as you discover yourself. I also give as much information as you want to understand what’s going on in your body and mind when you’re coping with something like anxiety, trauma or depression. Information can relieve the distress of feeling like you’re “going crazy” or are losing control of your mind/body. I want you to feel comfortable with me, so you are encouraged to call first and have a chat with me to see how it feels to you. If you aren’t comfortable with me, I promise I’m not offended, in fact, I’d be happy to recommend a trusted colleague for you to connect with instead.
