Katherine Brennan
Clinical Social Worker/Registered Dance Movement Therapist - LCSW, LSCSW, R-DMT
Hi, I’m Katherine, and I’m glad you found me. I love working with individuals and couples who seek to carve out a new path of hope for themselves. Whether that’s moving through a transition, trauma, or just wanting to feel “unstuck”, I accompany my clients through the muddy waters of emotions and life circumstances toward greater clarity and new possibilities. Finding a sense of peace and direction, within your own dreams is what we can work toward together. I use tools of mindfulness, self-compassion, cognitive behavioral techniques, and value-centered pursuing of goals. I am a Registered Dance Movement Therapist so may draw from some movement/somatic practices to help one further their own body-mind connection in order to feel more at home in one’s skin. I have worked with adolescents through older adults for 14 years and enjoy helping couples and family systems understand each other.
