Kate Joy
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate -
Currently accepting new clients! Have you felt lately like to world is moving too fast and life is outside of your control? The constant doom-scrolling can make it hard to find a feeling of safety. You find yourself feelin guilt over all of the things not getting done (which then that guilt and low energy continues making those tasks seem impossible to do). Your to-do list just keeps getting longer and longer while your burnout makes it difficult to cross anything off the list. You crave meaningful relationships in your life where you feel heard, understood, and loved. You know that something needs to change, you just need a path.
I am a queer and disabled counselor, and much of my practice stems from the liberation from shame, self-doubt, and internalized oppression that so many of us are taught to carry. In meeting with me, we will collaboratively look at your relationships, identity, and boundaries to meet you where you are at and create a plan to get you where you want to be.
I am excited to get to know you, please reach out and we can schedule a free 15-minute consult call to make sure I am the right fit for your needs. My website also has more information and few resources if you would like to understand my approach a little bit more.
