Karen Jasso
Psychotherapist - AMFT
Welcome! I’m Karen Jasso, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, from California State University, Bakersfield. I specialize in anxiety, depression, neurodiver-trauma, grief and loss, relationships, and self-esteem, and I am passionate about supporting my clients’ journeys toward healing and personal growth. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy hiking, reading, painting, and running (for fun!). I believe in the importance of self-care and strive to bring balance and mindfulness into my own life. These interests not only rejuvenate me but also help guide me in my practice.
My therapeutic approach is what I like to call “Rainbow’s and Glitter” approach but is really client-centered, integrative, cognitive-behavioral, somatic, internal family systems, and solution-focused. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we will work to identify your goals and develop practical strategies to achieve them. My practice is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration, and I tailor my methods to meet you and your unique needs where you are.
