Kailee Place
Licensed Mental Health Counselor - LPC
The single most important factor for impactful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. I keep this in mind every single session. You are taking a huge and courageous step to seek out therapy, and I want the process to be as smooth, pain-free, and as enjoyable as possible. I strive to be approachable, nonjudgemental, and human. You are the expert of your own life and I’m just here to help you piece together some of those pieces, re-arrange some thought patterns, and support you. I am clinically trained and licensed, so I have the clinical skill set, but I find being highly clinical in sessions is off-putting and that’s not my style. The therapeutic work is there, but in a easygoing, non-sterile way. I think humor plays a wonderful role in therapy as well!
I welcome all people to contact me to give me an idea of what’s going on in their lives. I accept all backgrounds, races, sexual orientations, cultures, faiths, genders… you name it! I do have a particular interest in working with young women who struggle with their place in the world, their self-esteem, and their purpose. I will gladly make appropriate referrals for those of you who I do not feel as I would be the best fit for. I may have a certain set of skills or treatment modality that may not be what you’re looking for. My goal, even if I do not end up being your therapist, is to make sure you find the best fit ultimately!
I am so excited to offer both in office as well as online services. I am able to reach local clients, but also have the ability to stretch all throughout South Carolina. Please check out my website to get a better idea of what I offer. I offer convenient and secure online services that include booking appointments, completing paperwork, video/chat sessions, secure messaging, journaling, and more.
I look forward to working with you!
