Julie Miller

Counselor - LCPC

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” – Carl Rogers.
This quote summarizes my approach to the therapeutic relationship. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space while empowering you to explore, accept, and challenge yourself. I have been practicing therapy for 10 years working with individuals that have experienced trauma and abuse. I incorporate mindfulness, breathing techniques, creativity, self-compassion, and narrative therapy into session to facilitate healing.
I have additional training in DBT, Mindfulness Based Self-Compassion, trauma-focused CBT, and EMDR. I offer a free 15 minute phone consult.
