Counselor -
Positive Wellness specializes in treating those who suffer from PTSD, anger, stress, postpartum depression, childhood abuse, stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, LGBTQ+, and body positivity. During the counseling process, clients will explore and reframe negative beliefs, reprocess trauma, develop mindfulness, and overall positive emotional health.Some of the modalities utilized at Positive Wellness include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic, and mindfulness.Through a collaborative approach, your therapist will join you on a journey of exploration, growth, and healing. Your therapist can assist you in reconnecting with yourself, feeling grounded in your mind and body, and helping you manage your life more smoothly.
