As a gay man, I am passionate regarding my work with the LGBTQ community. I particularly enjoying supporting individuals at various stages of the ‘coming out’ process. I also have theological training that I feel especially qualifies me to work with individuals struggling with faith/spiritual issues.
One accomplishment I am particularly proud of is my ability to bring client’s awareness to strengths they have not been able to acknowledge and utilize in meeting their goals.I have experience in using hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as mindfulness techniques to assist my clients in managing depression, emotional dysregulation and anxiety from a holistic strength based perspective.
I have experience working with addiction issues and ADHD.A professional as well as personal interest of mine is Adults affected by adoption. have several years experience doing home based services and am open to meeting individuals in their homes and community settings for sessions.
