John Ballew

Counselor - LPC

I work with people who want help in making their lives more fulfilling and happy. Many of my clients come in because they feel stuck, depressed or anxious or are having trouble with intimacy or relationships. Recently I’ve been working with quite a few single clients who struggle with the challenges of dating or loneliness. My clients are typically busy professionals who juggle the demands of work and personal life and want to do it effectively. My style is active, compassionate and supportive. My quiet home office in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood creates a peaceful environment for my clients to address the issues they bring to therapy. I limit the number of people I work with so I can provide the optimal environment for my clients.I work with all sorts of people who are interested in creating and maintaining happy and fulfilling lives. Working with LGBTQ clients is a specialty of mine. Please visit my website to learn more about me or to read articles I’ve written on a variety of topics.
