Counselor -
Grief can be physically, emotionally, and spiritually devastating. A death or other significant loss can disrupt social and family relationships, weaken your sense of identity, and leave you questioning the very purpose of life. We cannot leave our grief behind, but we can heal the devastating effects of grief and learn to carry it with us on the road ahead. I will listen to you without judgment, recognize your pain, honor your loss, and help you understand your unique grief journey. After a death or other significant loss, we experience intense emotions: sadness, anger, fear, regret. We ask painful questions. “Why did this happen?” “Who am I now?” “How do I go on?” I provide space and support to express your feelings and explore difficult questions as you pick up the pieces and find a way forward. If you are feeling lost, alone, or “stuck” in your grief after a death or other significant loss, grief counseling can help you heal. I offer a safe space to express the thoughts and feelings that your friends and family might not understand or that you do not want to share with them.
