Jessica Goehring
Associate Clinical Social Worker - ACSW
I have a passion for working with neurodivergent folks, transitional age youth and young adults, LGBTQIA+ folks, and individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.
I utilize a strength-based and person-centered approach to therapy that treats individuals as the experts of their own experiences. This includes an eclectic combination of humanistic, attachment, object relations, grief and loss, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral informed perspectives. Cultural humility and social justice are also core elements of my practice. My hope is that through our work together, clients will not only develop a better understanding of themselves but will also understand how core relationships and systemic factors have influenced their lived experiences.
I want my clients to leave sessions feeling empowered by an increased understanding of themselves, equipped with a toolkit to make the changes they need towards greater wellness and fulfillment in their lives.
