Jennifer Volino

Licensed Mental Health Counselor - M.A., LMHC

I specialize in helping clients that are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or who are managing stressful life transitions. Life gets difficult at times which is why I work to build long-term relationships, offer fast and flexible scheduling, and aim to make each session as beneficial as possible for you. Primarily, I work with adolescents-adults who are looking to better understand themselves, manage their emotions/stressors, and find their path to an enjoyable future. I offer a safe virtual space for us to understand your needs, set goals, and incorporate beneficial coping skills into your daily life.
I will utilize the most appropriate theoretical approach to ensure the current need of the session is met, therefore, I have a prescriptive ability to alternate between approaches. Generally, I have a Solution-Focused CBT/DBT approach that focuses on processing/regulating emotions, using coping skills, and creating sustainable solutions for your daily life.
Finding a safe place to express yourself shouldn’t be difficult, so I try to make the process as easy as possible for you. I offer a comfortable, judgment-free environment where we can explore and process strong emotions and express vulnerability. I look forward to joining you on your therapeutic journey and guiding you toward your ideal future.
