Jennifer Atlas
Psychotherapist, Art Therapist -
I believe that being in therapy is about creating space for positive change. When we can slow down and make room for ourselves, we can grow and create lasting adjustments that make our lives more balanced and enjoyable. I work collaboratively with my clients, providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore issues, problem solve, navigate life transitions, develop new and creative coping skills, and strengthen one’s relationship with themselves and with others.
My approach is integrative and holistic, combining talk therapies and art therapy with mindfulness/body-based practices. All sessions are tailored to the preferences and goals of my clients. Clients can see me for talk therapy and or art therapy. Art therapy is for everyone, not just people who identify as artists or have experience with the visual arts.
I’m a patient and compassionate therapist, valuing humor and direct communication, dedicated to supporting my clients in their healing process and personal growth, enacting the changes they desire to see within themselves.
