Jennifer Kennett
Licensed Mental Health Counselor - MA, LMHC
Let’s face it—deciding to see a counselor is a tough decision. It requires you to open up to a virtual stranger. However, counseling is one of the most effective ways to make changes in your life quickly while feeling supported and understood in the process. Finding a counselor that you feel comfortable with is crucial to ensuring the counseling process is effective. So how do you know if I’m the right counselor for you? The most effective way I know is to meet me and see if I am the right fit. I have a deep and abiding passion for the human spirit and an intuitive understanding of how people experience connection to one another. I have an innate ability to discover what makes you truly unique and special. My work empowers you (and your partner or family) to build relationships that help you feel more connected and allow you to grow as a person. My collaborative coaching style invites you to be expert in your own experience, which improves your ability to choose the right solutions. I have over 20 years experience in providing assessment and counseling services to individuals and families at community mental health agencies and in private practice in Canada & in Washington State. I have also devoted a significant amount of time to building and supporting functional teams in my roles as a leader with various volunteer and professional organizations. My clients describe me as warm, compassionate, and creative, with a great sense of humor. I would love start a conversation to see if we might work well together. Call me or email me today.
