Jennifer Hershey
Marriage and Family Therapist -
Often times, we determine our self-worth through comparing our lives with others on Instagram, or how fast we can “hustle.” I’m here to say, “I get it” and can provide breathing room when you don’t feel good enough or when you have hit your capacity. I work with individuals that want to feel better about their bodies and their relationship with food, navigating a little thing called motherhood, and getting the most out of our relationships.
I approach finding deep-rooted resiliency to sort through the things that keep us stuck in a story that we want to get out of. I believe a deep connection is necessary for healing. This usually looks like supporting you in a good cry, seeing the laughter in things, or bringing those “ah-ha” moments into the room.
I specialize in understanding how our initial attachment effect our perspective in life, other people, and of ourselves. I’ll teach you the tools you need to reframe your way of thinking, but don’t worry — I’ll always meet you where you’re at. It’s your journey, your process; I’m just here to make it easier.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#108718) as well as a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#2476). So, let’s get curious with ourselves, connect on a deeper level, and co-create wholeness. And remember, therapy is always a good idea!
