Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
Motherhood is the hardest job on the planet. From the moment that you are pregnant, you may find yourself faced with hormonal changes and unexpected emotions. During the postpartum period, you may find that you have questions about your new identity, a sense of grief over the life you had before, and even with all the excitement there may still be some sadness and the looming question of “Is it supposed to feel like this?” Whether it’s clinical issues such as perinatal mood disorders (including postpartum anxiety and depression) or just a sense that something is off and you need someone to process it with, I am here to help.I specialize in providing support to women transitioning into motherhood as well as mothers at varying phases of their journeys. I have years of experience treating perinatal and postpartum depression as well as mood disorders including anxiety. I have also helped countless clients who need support when adjusting to a transition period in their lives.I have chosen this specialty because of my personal experience as a mom. I am committed to providing a space where you feel seen and heard. I can help normalize your experience by providing language to describe what you are feeling as well as space to say the things you may not feel have permission to say elsewhere.
