I enjoy working with individuals around issues of depression/anxiety, foster care/adoption, behavioral concerns, parenting, relationships/family issues, adjustment/transitions, and trauma.
During sessions, you can expect compassion and understanding, it is my goal to provide a safe space that is gentle, collaborative, and direct in order to help you better understand and find a solution to current or long-standing challenges through a trauma-sensitive approach.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am a member of the American Counseling Association and the New York Association for Play Therapy. I received a Master’s Degree from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY with a focus in clinical mental health counseling. I have spent the last 8 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and families providing assessments and counseling in a variety of settings including schools, colleges, community agencies, residential treatment centers, and hospitals. I am continually striving to build my knowledge base through attending workshops, clinical conferences, and reading books & journal articles in order to stay current with treatment techniques and recommendations.
