Hi. I’m Jason Tuma. I’m a licensed therapist and author of Anxious about Anxiety: a Workbook for Managing Anxiety (www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6TBGY8K).
I have received training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and personality disorders from the Beck Institute. This is the highest training possible for CBT. However, what truly set’s me apart is my counseling style. I always do my best to understand where you are coming from while providing guidance using my education. You can ensure that you will feel comfortable in session.
While I provide support and understanding, I also believe in productivity. Truly teaching you how your symptoms occur and how to fix them. We won’t just talk about issues, we will perform actions and skills right in session. This will allow you to see the impact this has on you, then and there. You will instantly see the change.
Life gets hard and things can suck. However, I want to share with you the same things I use everyday. I am so glad you are here and I look forward to seeing you in session.
