Jamie Carruth

Psychotherapist - LMFT

Life can be difficult to navigate. We accumulate invisible scars and wounds over time. Balancing your personal needs with the expectations of others, while essential to developing healthy relationships, can make you feel lost and without direction. You shouldn’t walk that path alone. Psychotherapy can help you understand your place in the world and how to be in relationships with others without losing yourself.I focus on understanding the self through the exploration of key relationships. These relationships may include those with caregivers in childhood, romantic partners and friends in adulthood, and the all-important relationship you have with yourself. Together we can work through shame, loss, and trauma.I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a tool used to process traumatic memories. I also help people establish independence from communities or cultures that no longer fit them. Let’s work together to nourish and strengthen your core self-identity.
