Postpartum depression and/or anxiety can be crippling; robbing you of joy, and leaving you feeling disconnected and miserable. These conditions make you doubt yourself and your abilities as a mother. It’s enough to make you question your decision to become a parent in the first place.Whether it’s your first child, or your sixth, postpartum depression and anxiety can happen to anyone. These conditions can often cause intense sadness, disturbing thoughts, suicidal ideations, hopelessness, panic, and much more. Many moms feel that they are unable to speak about their experience if it’s anything less than idyllic. This experience often makes moms feel ashamed, that there’s something “wrong” with them, or that they aren’t good enough. This shame keeps you silent and isolated. Our society tells us that this phase of life is only filled with joy and excitement; that we’re not supposed to struggle. The reality is: it IS hard! It IS a struggle. It can hurt and it can be lonely. Im here to help you work through those pains and find strength within yourself, find joy, and reclaim your life.
