Hi, my name is Iliamari Vazquez Houston and I am a professional Social Worker, LCSW. I am taking new clients and have immediate availability for sessions. I am a trauma therapist, with expertise in family issues, depression, anxiety and stress, perinatal and postpartum journeys, and first responder and their families. I have worked over the last 15 years in a variety of settings with diverse communities. My expertise allows others to feel heard, in order to make positive improvements. My focus in therapy is to provide a safe experience with a person-centered approach. This can have elements of CBT, DBT, talk therapy, solution focused and motivational interviewing. I also provide support in processing trauma via EMDR techniques. If you feel you need longer than a 50 minute EMDR session, we can discuss if an EMDR intensive session (2+ hours) is appropriate. I look forward to working with you through your therapeutic journey.
