Helen Laroche
Psychotherapist -
You’re wandering through life without a compass. It feels, perhaps, as if your life has been done to you, rather than created by you.
You’ve noticed yourself asking questions like:
“Why do I keep finding myself here (in this pattern, in this feeling, with this type of person)?”
“What do I really want?”
And at the core: “Who am I?”
Or perhaps you’ve answered these questions, but the knowledge is dry and unsatisfying. You “know” why you are the way you are – but a deeper, cathartic understanding still eludes you. But you are encouraged to keep searching, buoyed by the hope that what you seek is somewhere waiting for you.
I take a collaborative and relational approach with clients, specializing in working with clients integrating the impacts of relational injury on their psyches and their relationships. Using a bespoke application of modalities ranging from DBT to parts work to depth psychology, we observe patterns of thought and behavior as they enter the room with us.
Seeking out therapy can feel challenging, and I’m here to help. Reach out for a free short consultation call so that we can talk about your hopes and expectations for therapy and discuss what it’s like to work with me. I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, supervised by Kat Conour, LMFT #116696.
