My counseling views focus on understanding and healing based upon an 8-dimensional model of wellness (Emotional, Financial, Social, Spiritual, Occupational, Physical, Intellectual, and Environmental), one which reflects the necessity of strengthening all of the parts of the self as a means of nurturing healing. I have 18+ years experience providing support and guidance to persons in recovery from addictive cycles (including Nicotine Dependence, drugs and alcohol, and eating disorders), relationship challenges, mental health difficulties, and most recently, perinatal and postpartum distress. I approach my practice as a partnership between me and my clients; with a trusting and safe relationship, change can occur. We will work together to uncover the barriers in your path, learn to recognize them when they appear, and develop solutions to solve them.
