I have 10 years of counseling experience and view therapy as a collaborative and unique process.Together we will identify things that are distressing to you or are prompting you to feel or act in unhelpful or ineffective ways. Next, we will design a plan that fits with your values and goals. We will work to find ways of coping with and managing these things in ways that incorporate your individual experiences, values, and beliefs. My goal is to be your guide along the way and to work together to bring about some positive change in your life. My hope is that we will have a continual dialogue about our progress towards achieving your goals and adjust our approach in any way needed to bring you success.I am an Intensively Trained Clinician in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and I also draw from a variety specialized training, methods and research-based theories including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.My goal is to help you get where you want to be.
