Hanna Weir
Psychotherapist, Creative arts Therapist -
In my work, I am passionate about creating a safe and collaborative environment that can serve as a catalyst for self-understanding and change. My primary areas of expertise are working through anxiety, depression, women’s issues and motherhood. I am warm and empathetic. I strive to help clients improve coping skills, interpersonal relationships, heal past trauma, and build self esteem and understanding. Therapy work includes deepening insight, and implementing new behaviors or thinking patterns. I have years of experience working with ages ranging from young children to adults on both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
In therapy we will look at patterns that keep you feeling stuck and work on creating new awareness that will open up possibilities for growth, and healing. When given space to share ones experience and feelings, insight and awareness grows which creates space to let go of patterns of behavior or thinking that are no longer serving us.
We all deserve to feel well and I believe that seeking therapy can be the beginning of facilitating wellness and shifting how you experience yourself and the world around you. Finding the right therapist can be difficult, but I look forward to talking with you to discover if we might be a good fit and how I can help you on your path to your goals.
