Provisionally Licensed Counselor -
Hi! Do you feel like you’re in the midst of an existential or identity crisis? Do you find yourself asking questions like “what am I doing with my life” or “who am I”? Those are my favorite kinds of questions, and I’d love to explore them with you. You might be going through a big transition in life (e.g., transitioning into adulthood, break-up, leaving a job) or you might feel stuck in your life the way that is. Both are difficult to navigate, and it can help to have someone there to talk it out with. My approach to therapy is open and collaborative. I want you to feel complete freedom in expressing what you need from therapy–it’s your space. I will be honest with you in what I’m seeing. I take a mindfulness approach which is all about being in the present moment in a non-judgmental way. There is going to be suffering in life and that’s normal. It might sound strange, but when we can learn to sit with that suffering and not fight against it, things become much easier.
