Associate Social Worker - ACSW
Trauma and unwanted memories can leave us in a state of chaos and confusion. These memories often replay in our minds making us feel trapped, and cut off from the world. When anxiety hits, our bodies can become a prison. Unable to breathe or focus, one can feel: helpless, embarrassed, ashamed, and even confused. Fortunately, you no longer need to feel overwhelmed or alone on this journey. With my strength based approach, you can connect to your power, find your truth and reclaim your life. Yes, it is possible. Our work will build on your natural abilities, life experience and inner strength.I help PTSD and complex trauma survivors feel safe in their body and live life with confidence, acceptance and ease. I specialize in trauma, self regulation, and authenticity. I am passionate about facilitating and teaching others (including non creatives) how to self regulate through the arts and through their authentic self expression.Symptoms I treat include: anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, grief, trauma, complex trauma, & blocked creativity.Interventions I specialize in are: EMDR, Creative Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Education & more.
