Emily Sharp

LCAT, ATR-BC, BC-TMH, RYT-200

Are you looking for a therapist who is active in conversations, non-judgmental, encouraging, and invested? Then we could be a good fit.
I help people who feel stuck in old patterns find new ways of seeing. I specialize in working with Adults and Young Adults who are struggling with anxiety of all kinds, life-transitions/adjustments, relationship issues, low mood, and those looking to build confidence, set effective boundaries, manage overwhelm, and take actions to make noticeable improvements that lead to more calm, confident, and fulfilling lives. Are you not living your life the way you want to? let’s talk about it.
I’m a licensed therapist in NY State with over a decade of clinical experience helping clients break free from negative patterns to create a life they love. When working with clients, I Incorporate my interests in CBT and mindfulness, as well as my training as an Art Therapist (LCAT, ATR-BC) and my certification in yoga (RYT-200). I’m also a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), who understands your need for scheduling flexibility. I work with NY State Residents virtually through convenient tele-therapy sessions by HIPAA secure video or phone. There’s no need for long commutes for office visits, I can meet you where you are most comfortable. Throughout my work, I’ve seen so many clients change their lives in meaningful ways – beyond what they first thought possible. It’s a collaborative process, and it’s an honor for me to get to do this work.
I am currently offering virtual meetings through HIPAA-Compliant video sessions. I am in-network with Cigna / Evernorth Insurance (also accepting EAPs). I can also work with most out-of-network insurance plans. Reach out today for a free phone consultation, I look forward to speaking with you!
