Seeking out therapy services is a big decision. You may be in a place of feeling overwhelmed, scared, or confused, or just know that something is bothering you, but can’t put your finger on it. Challenges can come about especially during transition points in our lives. I bring an empathic understanding and sensitivity to each person’s experience, to help you bring awareness to the deeper roots of your difficulties, increase self-compassion, and discover different ways of responding in the world, to bring on healing and improved relationships in your life.I bring my empathic sensitivity to our work to help bring resolution to the issues that are getting in the way of having a full life. I have worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years in a variety of environments. This has given me a wonderful opportunity to work with many different people, in different situations and points in their lives. My training has been focused on the practice of psychodynamic psychotherapy, experiential play therapy for children, Lifespan Integration, and trauma-informed methods. Through these approaches we will work in partnership to explore the impact of your early experiences and relationships, so you may gain insight and clarity to help you make more positive choices in your life. I look forward to working with you.
