Therapy helps people define the life they would like to live. Therapy helps draw out the facets of ourselves, our relationships, and the surrounding world that contribute to this goal. Therapy also gives us the strength and understanding with which to jettison behaviors and feelings that take away from who we wish to be.I am a life-long learner. My Adlerian training has allowed me to “see with the eyes of another, hear with the ears of another, and feel with the heart of another”. My clinical training has allowed me to experience therapeutic styles from a variety of cultures and walks of life. I work with adults and young adults and have a special affinity for those coping with health challenges, life-changing events, loss, and the re-discovery of hope and perspective. Alongside traditional evidenced-based practices I use metaphor, humor, positive psychology, and therapeutic writing to creatively identify and hone personal strengths towards individualized treatments.Together, we can define the life you would like to live.
