Dr. Elizabeth Sanchez, LMFT, PSY D
Psychotherapist -
Pregnancy or being a new mom can be a challenging time. Whether you are currently pregnant or postpartum you could be experiencing feelings of loneliness, hopelessness, and worry. You just want these negative feelings to go away so you can enjoy your pregnancy. Then you give birth, and you think that all these feelings will go away but sometimes they get worse. You may ask yourself “What is wrong with me?” This can lead to feeling disconnected from yourself, your partner, and even your baby.
I help you explore your fears about pregnancy and motherhood. I can teach you coping skills to help manage your anxiety/worries. I provide a safe place for you to express and understand your feelings without feeling judged, make connections as to why you feel a certain way, and find your “aha” moments.
I work with pregnant women and new moms struggling with anxiety and depression. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and have been in practice for 6+ years. I am trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders where I learned the tools to help pregnant women and moms struggling with mental health.
