Elizabeth McElroy
Clinical Social Worker/Therapist -
Deciding to begin therapy—for the first time ever or just for the first time in awhile—can feel overwhelming. If you’re grieving a loss, having trouble adjusting to changes in your life, or feeling isolated, I can help.I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My job as your therapist is to hold the space for you to examine your struggles, remember your strengths, and find a way to adjust to the big changes that come with growing older, especially the various losses we face in our lifetimes. I can’t take your grief from you, but together we can find a way to honor your losses and live with them rather than suffering with them. Your story is important; I can help by listening and making connections to better understand the challenges you’re facing. Together, we can ease the pain of loss in whatever form it’s taken for you.
