Eli Ko
Marriage & Family Therapist -
As an Asian-American therapist, I understand the unique experiences and struggles of the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. I have seen how social, cultural, and religious factors impact our mental health. I believe our past experiences, especially those related to early attachment relationships, can significantly impact our current emotional and relational functioning.
My integrative approach combines a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens, attachment lens, mindfulness, inner child work, and body awareness. Through this approach, I aim to create a safe and affirming space where my clients can explore their emotions, experiences, thoughts, and behaviors and help them develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience. I truly believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work closely with my clients to develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Whether you are looking for a therapist who is culturally responsive, empathetic, and experienced in working with the BIPOC and LGBTQ community or looking to deepen your connection with yourself and others, I am here to support you on your journey.
