Dustin Meyerson
Psychotherapist -LPC Associate, CMIP -
Seeking help is the first step towards feeling better. When you are experiencing difficulties in your life, it seems to make everything that much more challenging. Negative feelings seem to create more negative feelings if they go without being addressed. Regardless of why you are seeking help, the most important thing right now is that you are making the choice to do so. Focusing on what we can control (instead of what is beyond our control) is often a key element to working through difficult life circumstances.
During therapy, I work with each individual client collaboratively, so that they can live more fulfilling lives. I have clinical experience working with individuals experiencing a myriad of symptoms including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma. Additionally, I work with clients to help them manage difficult life transitions (i.e., education, parenting, career, relationships, etc.).
