Drew Carr
Psychologist - PhD
Why is it so hard to be happy? Why is life so difficult? Why do humans suffer so much? And what can we realistically do about it? I aim to make psychotherapy and coaching accessible and enjoyable; and I want you to take action. But it’s not about just any old action.
First, it’s about values-guided action. What do you want to stand for? What matters, deep in your heart? What do you want to be remembered for?
Second, it’s about action that you take consciously with awareness, open to your experience and fully engaged.I want you to come into contact with what matters in the big picture: your heart’s deepest desires for whom you want to be and what you want to do during your brief time on this planet. You then use these core values to guide, motivate, and inspire change.I aim to foster rich, meaningful life regardless of the pain that life inevitably brings.
I teach skills to reduce the impact and influence of painful thoughts and feelings, and help clarify what’s truly important in order to inspire and motivate to take action that enriches your life.
