Dr. Selena Smith holds a Doctorate in Counseling, Licensed Advanced Practice Social Worker, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II, Substance Abuse Expert and Master Addiction Counselor. Dr. Selena Smith has been providing treatment, clinically and administratively supervising the delivery of care to individuals seeking substance abuse addiction treatment for over 20 years. Selena is a published author and has three private practices that also provides credentialing and consultant services. Selena has worked in public and private programs, proprietary and not-for-profit agencies in detoxification, military, rehabilitation and transitional care, in both inpatient and outpatient, in single and multi-site programs. Selena developed family, adolescent, older adult, dual diagnosis and cocaine programs. Selena provides credentialing services, billing, and assistance with CARF accreditation. Selena specializes in the development of programs and compliance protocols that focus on delivering high quality treatment services in a managed care environment, comprehensive approaches to relapse prevention, risk to children in addicted families, waiting list management, evidenced-based treatment and outcomes-driven treatment. Selena is a trainer and consultant who has provided services in the public and private sectors, both civilian and military, to providers, managed care staff, insurance companies, professional associations, states and EAPs.
