Dorothee Ischler

Licensed Psychologist, Marriage & Family Therapist - LP, LMFT

Hello, and welcome to my profile! It’s hard for me to decide who my ideal client would be, most likely a person interested in holistic therapy incorporating mind-body-spirit. But then, after practicing in a small town for over 35 years, I’m good at discerning what approach would work best with a particular person and can adapt to that particular orientation.Like many therapists, I felt drawn to psychotherapy because of my wounds. I have struggled with attachment issues, trauma, identity, and belonging. For as long as I remember, I have been interested in psychology and spirituality and remain hungry for knowledge in these areas to this day.I remain energized by my work which is a source of meaning in my life.
