My work is rooted in helping you gain insight while bringing in evidence-based and mindfulness practices to help you identify your strengths and goals, and take action to live an authentic and fulfilling life. I always welcome humor into the room – I believe that humor blended with lots of respect and smart strategies can be a highly affective therapeutic tool!
I aim to help each individual attain more complete self understanding; develop skills for improving relationships; find new ways to cope with stress and anxiety; improve communication skills; break negative and self-destructive patterns; increase career satisfaction; and, increase self esteem and confidence.
Therapy doesn’t always have to be brutal and tiring. In fact, sometimes it can actually be adventurous, hilarious, and moving. Individual counseling sessions have at their foundation the goal of helping each person function at their best through all sorts of situations or problems that pop up in life.
